Nestor Cohenca, D.D.S., FIADT

At Prime Endodontics, Dr. Nestor Cohenca leads with a deep passion for endodontics, the specialty focused on the soft inner tissues and roots of teeth. His approach combines exceptional training with a strong commitment to precision and patient-centered care. Dr. Cohenca began shaping his career as a clinical assistant professor and coordinator of trauma and sports dentistry at the University of Southern California from 2003 – 2005. He then furthered his expertise at the University of Washington where he completed his endodontic certificate in 2008 and served as a tenured professor of endodontics and pediatric dentistry until 2014. Today, he continues to educate as a professor at the University of Washington and as professor and director of endodontics at Seattle Children's Hospital's multidisciplinary traumatology unit, in addition to managing his private practice.

Dr. Cohenca is not only a diplomate of both the Israel and American Boards of Endodontics but also a respected fellow and past president of the International Association of Dental Traumatology. His contributions to the field have been recognized with an honorary membership to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Outside the clinic, Dr. Cohenca finds joy in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity alongside his wife, Ruti, and enjoys leisure time with their beloved Goldendoodle, Simba.
